9 inspirational women

Being a woman isn't all about looks. We are known for our natural ability to care, love and reproduce. Men might think they're superior, but it's women that get all the press. This week we have decided to focus on the great women that have empowered the female population for all generations.

1.Beyonce- who runs the world? GIRLS! Yes, she went there. Beyoncé is the embodyment of perfect, with her toned body, her inspirational song lyrics and her honesty, she has shown us that hard work does pay off.
2.Margaret Thatcher- probably one of the most controversial prime ministers ever. Thatcher may have acted like a man but no, she was the first ever European female prime minister and that in itself is an inspirational achievement.
3.Nicola Adams- she's an inspirational woman living in a mans world. This boxing beauty has strength, determination and guts, which helped her achieve the first ever Olympic gold in women's boxing. Now that's inspirational.
4.Katie Piper- after a spiteful and shocking attack by a jealous ex, Katie still didn't let a man get her down and showed him just who is boss by going on to show women everywhere that looks really don't matter.
5.Jennifer Lawrence- yes she is the girl that fell over at the Oscars and ripped her dress at the SAG awards, but dress malfunctions aside, Jennifer Lawrence is a powerful and breath taking actress whose pushed boundaries and tackled sensitive issues with the integrity and class of a real lady.
6.Emmerline Pankhurst- in today's society men and women are both eligible to vote for who runs our country, but rewind only 100 years and Emmerline would have been in prison on hunger strike so us women could have the vote. She is the ultimate feminist, and has changed history and what it is to be a woman.
7.Joanna Lumley- this comedy genius has her finger in many pies, from her tv appearances to charity work that allowed soldiers that fought for Britain to live here. Her can do attitude shows us that you should always fight for what you believe in.
8.Mary Shelley- this classic author revoked the gothic genre and put her own stamp on literature. In a time when it really was all about men, she showed just how intelligent us women really are.
9.Paris Hilton- this socialite has the natural ability to do one thing, and one thing only... Make every other woman on this planet look smart... Thank you Paris!
