9 ways to wear a white shirt

The plain white shirt is a staple piece of any girls wardrobe and can be used for so many occasions, Our favrioute is from H&M with a jewelled collar at £20 (as featured) so this week we have compiled nine ways to wear this all time favourite:

1. Tulip skirt, black heels and a statement waistband: Bored of dresses and heels? This is perfect for a night out. Its classy, sexy and daring. This is a great look for anyone with a tiny waist as the coloured waistband extenuates perfectly. (Tulip skirt: £12 H&M, Black heels: £17George at Asda)

2. As a sarong:  No not on Skeggy beach, but maybe the Bahamas? Team this with jewelled sandals and a massive beach bag and this will work as the perfect cover up.

3.  Black heels, bright bra and matching clutch: This is risky, but boy do we love a risk. Wear your shirt as a dress and pair with some black heels, a bright bra and matching clutch for the perfect sexy Saturday night outfit. (Bra: £7 LA Sanza)

4. Pencil skirt, big bag and a chunky necklace: This is the perfect office outfit. We recommend a black pencil skirt and a chunky gold necklace, smart but sassy!

5. Black cigarette trousers and loafers: This outfit is perfect if you have a boyish shape, and can take you from the office to the pub. Loafers are both smart and practical and with a plain outfit like this choose some statement ones to jazz it up.

6. Knitted pastel jumper and a leather skirt: This whole outfit is bang on trend and is perfect for the cool weather, make sure you can see your collar over the jumper and layer the skirt underneath the bottom of your blouse.

7: A line skirt and Vans:  Hate your legs? Team your shirt with an A-line skirt to skim over your legs and create the perfect waist. Keep the skirt plain and then team with some bright vans, for the perfect laid back look.

8. Jeans and Docs: Laid back but bang on trend, this outfit ticks all the right boxes for a sight seeing city break. With the right amount of cleavage and the perfect walking boots, this will take you all the way from Paris to Rome. (Jeans: £20 bohoo, Bag: £80 Nine West, DOc Martens: £85)

9.  As pyjamas: Your Friend with benefits is coming round and your in your rabbit onsie? Don't have time to dig out your cute PJ's? Grab your shirt and some lacy knickers and  let your body do the talking. It's super easy to put on after as well. What's not to love?

We hope you liked our idea's.  What would you team a white blouse with? Leave comments and feedback, for us to enjoy.
All this week we will be doing a What I wore section on Instagram. These are outfits on a budget and we would love for you to check them out. So follow and like us on Instagram @thenincommandments.
